Role Description The Training & Placement Officer is a full-time, in office role based at the Shri Khushal Das University campus in Hanumangarh. The role involves designing and implementing training programs to enhance students’ employability, including soft skills development, interview preparation, and industry-readiness workshops. The officer will plan and manage campus placement activities, build and maintain relationships with recruiters and industry partners, and coordinate recruitment drives and internship opportunities.

Daily responsibilities include counseling students on career paths, tracking placement data, organizing events such as job fairs and employer talks, and collaborating with academic departments to align training initiatives with program outcomes.



The role also requires ongoing communication with employers and alumni to expand placement opportunities and maintain an active network.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage campus placement activities, including organizing recruitment drives and coordinating with industry partners (Campus Placement).
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities, with clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with students, faculty, and recruiters (Communication).
- Experience in college recruiting, talent identification, and building relationships with employers and placement agencies (College Recruiting).
- Competence in delivering and facilitating soft skills and professional development programs, including interview skills, teamwork, and workplace etiquette (Soft Skills).
- Skills in planning, designing, and executing training sessions, workshops, and career readiness programs for diverse student groups (Training).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a training, placement, career services, or HR role within an educational institution or corporate environment is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and administration, maintain accurate placement records, and use basic office and communication software tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a student-focused, ethical, and inclusive approach to career guidance and support.
