Hiring at multiple level Senior Trade Surveillance

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trade Surveillance professional to monitor, detect, and investigate potential market abuse, trading misconduct, and regulatory breaches across multiple asset classes. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements and maintaining the integrity of trading activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and review trading activities across Equities, Derivatives, and Fixed Income products.
- Perform surveillance and investigation of alerts generated through surveillance tools such as SMARTS.
- Identify potential market abuse scenarios including insider trading, market manipulation, spoofing, wash trades, front-running, and other suspicious activities.
- Conduct detailed investigations, document findings, and escalate concerns to Compliance and Senior Management where required.
- Analyze trading patterns and behavior to identify emerging risks and control gaps.
- Partner with Front Office, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Operations teams to obtain information and resolve surveillance cases.
- Prepare regulatory reports, management information (MI), and audit-ready documentation.
- Support enhancement of surveillance models,



scenarios, and monitoring controls to improve detection effectiveness.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and ensure surveillance processes align with evolving requirements.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Trade Surveillance, Market Surveillance, Compliance Monitoring, or Market Conduct Risk.
- Hands-on experience with surveillance platforms such as Nasdaq SMARTS.
- Strong understanding of financial markets and products including:

- Equities
- Derivatives (Options, Futures, Swaps)

- Fixed Income Securities
- Experience investigating market abuse and trading misconduct cases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Background Ideal Candidate Profile A hands-on Trade Surveillance expert with deep capital markets knowledge and robust experience using SMARTS to investigate trading activity, identify regulatory risks, and support market integrity initiatives across global trading businesses.
