Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Tool & Die Maker with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in tool room activities, tool manufacturing, maintenance, and die correction. The candidate should have practical knowledge of press tools, dies, machining, fitting, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, and repair of press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related tooling.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tool drawings, and GD&T.;
- Perform fitting, grinding, drilling, tapping, and other tool-room activities.
- Work on press tools, dies, punches, and die components.
- Identify tool-related problems and carry out necessary corrections.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of tools and dies.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for tool trials and corrections.
- Carry out tool setting, try-outs, die spotting, and modifications.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and ensure tooling meets required specifications.
- Support new tool development and tool modification activities.
- Maintain tool history, repair records, and maintenance documentation.




- Follow safety procedures and maintain valuable housekeeping in the tool room.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience in Tool & Die Making.
- Knowledge of Press Tools / Sheet Metal Dies.
- Knowledge of punching, blanking, bending, drawing, and forming operations.
- Ability to read engineering/tool drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC/Grinding/Wire Cut/EDM will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of tool maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of tolerances and basic GD&T.;
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.

Experience: 2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience in Tool & Die Making, Tool Room, Press Tool Manufacturing, or Die Maintenance.
