GiGi Energy is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to own and grow our Karnataka business. This is a highly hands-on sales role.
In the 1st month you will be expected to spend significant time in the field and converting your existing key accounts/MT/HoReCa connections into sales. In your 2nd and 3rd month, you will be increasing sales across existing accounts, opening recent outlets, managing distributors and hiring your field sales team.
ROLE:
- Own GiGi's overall Karnataka sales and distribution targets
- Initially spend significant time personally working different Bangalore territories
- Build and optimise beat plans / beat paths for the sales team
- Manage MT, Corporate and HoReCa accounts
- Set territory targets, daily routes and sales priorities
- Ensure collections are completed on time
- Improve outlet visibility, fridge placement and in-store execution
- Report weekly sales numbers, pipeline, collections and market feedback directly to the founders
MUST HAVE:
- 5–8 years of FMCG or beverage sales experience
- At least 2 years managing distributors and a field sales team
- Strong knowledge of the Karnataka retail and HoReCa market
- Willing to spend significant time visiting outlets rather than managing from a desk
- Startup mindset — fast, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership
EXPERIENCE PREFERENCE: Energy drinks, soft drinks, packaged beverages, water, dairy, snacks or other high-frequency FMCG businesses. Candidates from companies such as Varun Beverages, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola/HCCB, Red Bull, Monster, Bisleri or similar FMCG companies is a strong advantage.
