Telecaller (or Telemarketing / Inside Sales / Customer Support Executive) is responsible for making outbound calls or receiving inbound calls to generate leads, close sales, resolve customer queries, or collect feedback.

Reports To: Team Leader / Telecalling Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Outbound Calling: Contact potential or existing customers from a provided database to promote products, services, or offers.
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify sales opportunities, gauge customer interest, and pass qualified leads to the field sales team or close sales over the phone.
- Inbound Query Resolution: Answer incoming customer calls, address inquiries about products or services, and resolve complaints efficiently.
- Database & CRM Maintenance: Log call outcomes, updates, customer details, and follow-up dates in a CRM (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce) or Excel tracking sheet.




- Follow-up Management: Schedule and execute timely follow-up calls with prospects who expressed prior interest.

Required Qualifications & Skills Requirement Category Specifics Education: High school diploma / 10+2, Higher Secondary, or Bachelor's degree in any field

Experience: Freshers welcome; 6 months – 2 years in BPO, tele-sales, or customer support preferred

Communication: Solid verbal communication, active listening, and convincing/persuasive skillsLanguages: Fluency in regional language (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, etc.) and basic/intermediate English.

Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy, familiarity with CRM software, MS Excel, and dialer systems

Key Traits: Resilience to rejection, high energy, active listening, patience, and goal orientation
