Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with strong hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Redis, and Kafka, along with solid architectural thinking and ideally some background in telecom. This person will lead a team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable microservices.

The role carries real ownership: driving technical quality, setting best practices, and delivering mission-critical telecom applications that need to hold up under strict performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build high-availability, low-latency telecom applications that support core network operations and service delivery
- Own project planning and task delegation to keep deliverables on time and high quality
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, offering technical guidance and performance feedback while building a team-oriented team culture
- Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile/Scrum setup
- Implement and manage Redis for caching and data storage




- Build and maintain Kafka-based event streaming pipelines for real-time data processing
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and bugs
- Optimize microservices for speed, efficiency, and resource usage
- Contribute to building a robust, scalable architecture
- Ensure the team follows coding standards and best practices
- Participate actively in code reviews and knowledge sharing
- Telecom industry experience is a plus, though not mandatory

Required Skills and Experience

- Telecom Knowledge: Working understanding of 3G/4G and 5G networks and 3GPP specifications, specifically as they apply to Policy and Charging systems
- Java: Strong grasp of core Java principles and best practices
- Spring Boot: Extensive hands-on experience, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud
- Microservices Architecture: Solid understanding of design patterns, communication protocols, and deployment strategies
- Redis: Practical experience using Redis as a caching layer and data store
- Kafka: Experience building event-driven applications and streaming pipelines with Apache Kafka
- Database: Comfortable working with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Architecture: Proven ability to design and implement scalable, reliable systems
- Problem-Solving: Able to identify, break down, and resolve complex technical issues
- Communication: Can explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Teamwork: Works well with other developers and cross-functional stakeholders
