About the role

We are looking for a dedicated TOC/NOC Engineer to provide 24x7x365 monitoring and operational support across on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments.

The role involves proactive monitoring, incident response, escalation management, and coordination with internal platform teams to ensure high availability, reliability, stability and security of infrastructure services.

What you'll do

- Proactively monitor and fine-tune IT infrastructure services (Servers, Network, Storage, Databases, Applications, Security & Performance) using associated monitoring tools to detect performance bottlenecks, traffic patterns, and capacity issues.
- Ensure 24x7x365 service availability and uptime.
- Identify, triage, and respond to alerts in real time.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for infrastructure incidents.
- Log and track incidents in ITSM tools (FreshDesk, Jira, etc…).
- Collaborate and Escalate incidents to Platform Operations and other internal teams as per the defined escalation matrix.
- Responsible for documenting all incidents, root-cause and reporting to respective stockholders.
- Create and maintain monthly utilization metrics and capacity reports for different infrastructure segments.
- Manage P1/P2 incidents, launch and participate in war-room/bridge discussions.
- Flexibility to work on rotational shift

What we're looking for

- 3–5 years of experience in NOC/TOC/Infrastructure Monitoring.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
- Experience handling P1/P2 incidents in high pressure production environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytic and multitasking skills.




- Experience using the Bash/Python scripting for process automation.
- Windows & Linux system administrator fundamentals
- Network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, Load Balancer, Switch/Router)
- Virtualization (VMware/vCenter/EC2)
- Cloud basics (AWS preferred)
- Monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios XI & Logic monitor
- Quick decision-making during critical incidents.
- Strong attention to details.
- High sense of ownership and accountability.
