Role Description This full time remote Technical Writer role focuses on creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical content for space industry audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and updating technical documentation, manuals, and guides for products, services, and research outputs.

The Technical

Writer will collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and marketing teams to gather information and translate complex concepts into accessible language. The role also involves maintaining documentation standards, ensuring consistency across materials, and incorporating feedback to improve clarity and usability.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Technical Writing and Technical Communication, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
- Experience creating Technical Documentation and Documentation for products, processes, or systems.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining Manuals and user guides for technical or research-based offerings.
- Excellent written English, editing, and proofreading abilities, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (such as Markdown, HTML, or documentation platforms) and collaboration software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Background or strong interest in the space or aerospace industry is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Science, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
