OptiFii is a B2B SaaS platform built for streamlining teh finances for Indian businesses. We are looking for a Technical Support Manager who can be the single point of contact for our customers and make sure their issues get resolved quickly and clearly.
What you will do
- Be the first point of contact for customer queries over email, calls and support tickets
- Understand the issue properly, reproduce it where possible, and figure out whether it is a user question, a configuration problem or an actual bug
- Read application logs, trace API requests and responses, and run basic database queries to narrow down the root cause before escalating
- Write clean, detailed bug reports for the engineering team with logs, steps to reproduce and impact
- Keep customers updated at every stage instead of making them follow up
- Track open issues to closure and keep internal teams informed on status and priority
- Maintain a knowledge base of common issues, fixes and FAQs
- Share recurring pain points with product and engineering so we fix the root cause,
not just the ticket
What we are looking for
- 2 to 3 years of experience in technical support or customer support, preferably in a SaaS or fintech product company
- Comfortable reading logs and understanding how a web application works end to end. Our stack is Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and REST APIs, and you should be able to work your way through them
- Working knowledge of SQL for basic data checks
- Ability to explain a technical problem in easy language to a non-technical customer
- Fluency in English and Hindi, both spoken and written
- Ownership mindset. You follow up, you close loops, and you do not let a ticket go cold
- Graduate in any discipline. A technical background is a plus but not mandatory
Good to have
- Exposure to accounts payable, invoicing, GST or expense management workflows
- Experience with ticketing tools like Freshdesk, Zoho Desk or Jira
- Familiarity with Postman or similar tools for API testing
