We are looking for 2 experienced Technical Project Managers to join a critical Legacy Transition Programme focused on Data Centre Exit, Cloud-to-Cloud Migration and Shared Services transition .

Technical Project Managers – Legacy Transition / Cloud Migration / Data Centre Exit

Location: Remote / (Hybrid – Staines / London, UK)

Key Responsibilities

- Own an allocated portfolio of Amber/Red services and drive recovery through formal closure.
- Lead data centre exit, cloud migration, infrastructure transformation and application modernisation activities.
- Develop recovery plans covering design, build, testing, migration, cutover, hypercare, decommissioning and closure.
- Manage technical dependencies across Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, Database, Security, Architecture and Operations .
- Lead RAID, dependency, action and decision management.
- Drive production cutover, rollback, hypercare and operational acceptance .
- Ensure legacy infrastructure, applications, data, licences, monitoring and CMDB records are appropriately retired.
- Provide senior stakeholder reporting, risk escalation and explicit recommendations for blocked services.

Must-Have Experience





- Complex Data Centre Exit / Cloud Migration / Infrastructure Transformation programmes
- Recovery of Amber/Red projects or services
- Production migration, cutover, hypercare and legacy decommissioning
- Strong experience with Azure and/or GCP enterprise environments
- Technical delivery across application, infrastructure, database, network and security teams
- Strong RAID, critical path, dependency, change and resource management
- Experience working with enterprise technology suppliers and senior stakeholders
- Ability to convert technical issues into clear decisions and actionable recovery plans

Experience with:
- Azure Landing Zones / Enterprise Azure Platforms
- Azure Logic Apps / API Management / Apigee
- Windows & SQL migrations
- Shared databases, storage/NAS and Production/UAT/NFT/DR environments
- AVD / Citrix migrations
- VPN, proxy, firewall & secure file transfer
- Cloud capacity / FinOps
- CMDB and asset retirement
- Data retention / data wipe / licence retirement
- RTO/RPO, Backup/Restore & DR testing
- ACP / Azure Platform migrations

PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
