Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional execution across multiple complex SoC development programsfrom concept and architecture through RTL-to-GDSII and post-silicon validation.
The ideal candidate will have strong semiconductor domain knowledge, experience managing globally distributed engineering teams, and the ability to transform fragmented program data into actionable insights for leadership. This role requires expertise in program governance, risk management, KPI tracking, capacity planning, executive reporting, Power BI dashboards, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Track the execution health of multiple concurrent SoC development programs.
- Monitor schedules, milestones, dependencies, KPIs, risks, and deliverables.
- Consolidate program status from functional and program leads.
- Identify execution bottlenecks, recurring failure patterns, and systemic risks.
- Drive issue escalation, corrective actions, accountability, and closure.
- Conduct operational reviews, executive reviews, and lessons-learned sessions.
- Develop functional health indicators, executive dashboards, and management scorecards.
- Standardize reporting processes and governance methodologies across programs.
- Track engineering tool, flow,
and methodology issues across design functions.
- Partner with engineering and methodology teams to improve development processes.
- Analyze resource demand, capacity, skill gaps, and functional bottlenecks.
- Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and scenario-based capacity planning.
- Track AI adoption and productivity improvements across engineering functions.
- Develop AI-enabled operational insights, reporting automation, and workflow solutions.
- Coordinate with global engineering, business, and leadership stakeholders.
Required Experience:
- 10-15+ years of experience in the semiconductor, VLSI, ASIC, or SoC industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical program management, engineering operations, PMO, or strategy roles.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional SoC development programs.
- Experience working with matrixed and globally distributed engineering teams.
- Solid experience in program governance, executive reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards, executive scorecards, and program-health reports.
- Experience in resource analytics, capacity planning, and operational improvement.
