Acorrphen Coating Private Limited, established in 2012 and based in Vadodara, Gujarat,

India, is a leading manufacturer of epoxy hardeners. Our products, primarily categorized into Phenalkamines, reactive polyamides, and polyamine adduct hardeners, are designed for industrial and protective coatings, tank and pipe linings, marine and offshore coatings,

anticorrosive paints, and floor coatings. We serve major paint and coating manufacturers both in India and internationally.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Head to lead our R&D; and production departments. The ideal candidate will drive product development, enhance existing formulations, and serve as a techno-commercial representative for the company with our clients. He/She is also expected to come with existing network with technical as well as commercial representatives in companies that are potential clients so as to help kickstart market expansion as well as accelerate ongoing approvals.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage all aspects of Research & Development
- Lead new product development initiatives
- Enhance and optimise current product formulations
- Supervise and coordinate production processes
- Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clients
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product positioning
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies




- Manage and mentor the technical team
- Play an active role in assessing and hiring junior candidates for R&D;, QC, and production teams
- Maintain comprehensive records of all R&D-related; documents and activities
- Ensure proper documentation and organisation of research findings, experiments, and product development processes

Qualifications

- Minimum MSc in Polymer Science; PhD is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the coatings industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role is preferable, but not required.
- Extensive knowledge of epoxy hardeners and their applications
- Strong understanding of industrial and protective coatings
- Proven track record in product development and process improvement
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati is a plus

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong project management skills
