ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Redis, Kafka and Microservices, along with strong architectural and team leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate should have experience developing high-performance, scalable and low-latency applications, preferably within the Telecom domain, particularly around Policy & Charging systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and mentor a team of developers/engineers.

- Design and develop highly available, scalable and low-latency applications.
- Drive technical design, architecture and development of microservices.
- Manage project planning, task allocation and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based event streaming solutions.
- Implement and manage Redis for caching and data storage.
- Optimize microservices for performance, scalability and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and performance issues.




- Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and drive technical excellence.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Java: Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on development experience. Spring Boot: Robust experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data and Spring Cloud.

Microservices: Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, communication protocols and deployment strategies.

Kafka: Hands-on experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming.

Redis: Experience using Redis as a caching layer and data store.

Telecom: Strong understanding of 3G/4G/5G networks and 3GPP specifications, particularly related to Policy & Charging systems.

PCC / PCF / PCRF: Hands-on or strong functional/technical knowledge of Telecom Policy & Charging platforms.

Database: Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.

Architecture: Ability to design scalable, reliable and robust application architectures.
