US Healthcare Scheduling Lead

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Medical billing industry, as Scheduling Lead minimum 1 year+ experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduling Lead (Team Lead) to oversee scheduling operations and manage a team of schedulers. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workforce planning, maintain schedule accuracy, and support operational goals through effective resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of scheduling coordinators/specialists.
- Create, maintain, and optimize employee schedules to meet business requirements.
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
- Analyze scheduling trends and recommend improvements for productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations, HR, and other departments regarding staffing needs.
- Handle schedule changes, shift swaps, leave requests, and escalation issues.
- Track attendance and adherence to schedules.
- Prepare and share scheduling reports and performance metrics.
- Train,



coach, and support team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Stakeholder management

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of scheduling, workforce management, or operations experience.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, analytical and scheduling/workforce management tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
