Role Overview
We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own hiring end to end at Knya. You'll work directly with hiring managers across functions to understand what each role really needs, then go find those people and bring them in.
This is a hands-on role. You run the process, you own the outcome, and you're often the first person a candidate meets at Knya.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full hiring cycle for your roles, from the intake conversation with the hiring manager to a signed offer and a confirmed joining date.
- Partner with hiring managers to build a sharp role brief and agree on what good looks like before sourcing begins.
- Source actively across LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and your own networks. Do not wait on inbound applications to fill a role.
- Screen and shortlist with a point of view. Every profile you send forward should come with your reasoning, not just a CV.
- Coordinate interviews across panels and calendars, and keep the process moving.
Candidates and interviewers should never be waiting on you.
- Keep candidates informed at every stage. Timely updates, honest feedback, and a clean close even when the answer is no.
- Run offer conversations, manage negotiations with finance and the hiring manager, and stay connected with candidates right up to day one.
- Keep the hiring tracker and ATS clean and current, so pipeline status is accurate on any given day.
- Track and report hiring metrics such as time to fill, source mix, offer to join ratio, and funnel drop-offs. Flag what is slipping early.
- Build pipelines for roles we hire repeatedly, so we are not starting from zero every time a seat opens.
- Support the wider People and Culture team on onboarding handover, employer branding, and hiring process improvements.

Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, in-house or agency.
- A track record of independently closing roles across levels and functions.
- Strong active sourcing skills on LinkedIn, job portals, and through referrals.
- Excellent coordination and follow-through. You hold many moving parts at once and drop none of them.
- Clear, warm, professional communication with candidates and hiring managers, written and spoken.
- Comfort working with an ATS, hiring trackers, and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ownership mindset. You chase the outcome, not just the task assigned to you.
Valuable to Have
- Experience hiring for D2C, consumer, or high-growth startup environments.
- Exposure to retail or frontline hiring alongside corporate roles.
- Experience running employer branding or hiring campaigns on social platforms.
- Familiarity with structured interviewing or competency-based evaluation.
- Understanding of basic HR operations beyond hiring, such as onboarding and documentation.
