Key responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL solutions using Talend, Datastage, ADF or Informatica.

- Analyse complex data requirements and build productive ETL pipelines to support business needs.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to understand data integration needs and propose optimal solutions.

- Perform data extraction from various data sources like Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), DB2 and Others and transformation and load into target systems like Oracle ExaCC or Others.

- Implement data quality checks, exception handling, and performance optimization in ETL processes.

- Conduct unit testing, validate data accuracy, and troubleshoot technical issues in ETL jobs.

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including mappings, workflows, and data dictionaries.

- Participate in code reviews, deployments, and production support as needed.

- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.

- Stay current with industry best practices and tools in ETL and data integration technologies.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.

- Minimum 4 years of solid hands-on experience in both Talend (preferably Talend Open Studio/Enterprise), Datastage, ADF, Informatica or Others.

- Proficient in ETL job design, performance tuning, and handling large-scale data processing.

- Solid understanding of RDBMS, SQL queries,



and experience working with databases such as DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Redshift, Synapse or PostgreSQL.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

- Good understanding of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and data lifecycle management.

- Experience with Cloud Azure/GCP or AWS is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and job scheduling tools is a plus.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

- Education: B. Tech/B. E (IT) or higher
