- Monitor system messages, alerts, logs, and console activities to ensure continuous service availability and platform stability.

Batch Processing &

- Workload Management:
- Submit, schedule, monitor, and manage batch workloads using JCL and scheduling tools such as TWS.

Job Monitoring &

- Troubleshooting:
- Monitor job execution, investigate failures, restart/release jobs, and ensure dependencies and priorities are met.

CICS &

- DB2 Support:
- Respond to CICS and DB2 alerts, perform first-level analysis, execute documented procedures, and escalate issues when required.

24 x 7 Shift Operations:

- Work in rotating shifts, manage incidents efficiently, and support high system availability.

IPL &

- System Support:
- Support IPL activities, role swaps, controlled component restarts, and other operational recovery activities.

Disaster Recovery (DR) Support:

- Participate in DR drills, execute runbook activities, perform validations, and capture required evidence and documentation.

Operational Controls &

- Compliance:
- Adhere to established operational procedures, controls, and service management standards.





Housekeeping &

- Resiliency Activities:
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks and support platform resiliency through disciplined operational execution.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Collaborate with Service Centre and support teams for incident escalation, resolution, reporting, and operational communications.

Process Improvement &

- Automation:
- Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation to reduce BAU effort.

Shift Handover Management:

- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective shift handovers for seamless operational continuity.
