Role Summary The role is primarily responsible for owning, operating, and optimizing the Oracle PBCS application to support accurate, efficient financial consolidation of our budgeting and forecasting cycles. This includes leading system upgrades, managing integrations, troubleshooting, driving process improvements, and coaching users and teams across finance.

It is an ideal role for an experienced systems analyst with a strong knowledge of Oracle PBCS or Oracle FCC, and broad experience of core finance processes and systems.

Experience - Essential

- Robust hands-on experience with Oracle Planning administration
- Knowledge of Groovy scripting
- Significant experience in consolidation software (2-3+ years), ideally in Oracle FCC or Hyperion.
- Experience with full lifecycle implementations, integrations, configurations, and upgrades of a planning and/or consolidation system.
- Strong understanding of IFRS principles, consolidations, intercompany, reporting, and close processes.
- Strong knowledge of core finance processes (R2R, S2C, P2P) and experience of managing and supporting ERPs.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

General

- Support the day-to-day management and ongoing development roadmap of the Group Finance team’s finance suite, including Oracle PBCS, Oracle EPM, Sage Intacct and associated tools.
- Act as first line of support on system issues and queries for Oracle PBCS.
- Drive continuous improvement for systems and processes.
- Ensure the system control environment is effective and that system configuration and maintenance tasks are fully documented.
- Support the Finance Systems Manager on ad hoc matters as required

Oracle PBCS (approx. 60%)

- Take the lead in the ongoing implementation of Oracle PBCS, providing day-to-day support and maintenance, including the management of security roles and user access.
- Lead day-to-day system configuration and performance tuning, including metadata, dimensions, and hierarchies.
- Maintain business rules, calculation scripts, and Groovy scripts
- Lead in issue resolution and troubleshooting. Acting as an escalation point of contact for systems incidents, debugging, root cause analyses, and fixing issues.
- Provide user training, documentation, and support materials where necessary.




- Liaise with FP&A; stakeholders to gather requirements and implement improvements
- Enforce internal controls, maintain audit trails, monitor system logs and performance.
- Evaluate new features, propose enhancements and support strategy for roll out of the system into new businesses.
- Engage and work with third party consultants as required for development requests, including the enhancement and creation of new reports.

Oracle FCC (approx. 30%)

- Assist in the day-to-day support and maintenance of the newly implemented Oracle FCC, including the management of security roles and user access.
- Support day-to-day system configuration and performance tuning.
- Support FCC go‑lives, upgrades, patch testing, and enhancements.
- Support the Finance Systems Manager in issue resolution and troubleshooting.
- Manage user set up and resolve system issues.
- Support the roll-out of new releases, ensuring the system is adequately tested prior to the changes being applied to the live system.
- Engage and work with third party consultants as required for and development requests, including the enhancement and creation of new reports.

Sage Intacct suite (approx. 10%)

- Support the day-to-day management of Sage Intacct suite, including Yooz, Adra, webexpenses and any other associated system tools.
- Resolve issues and queries relating to the system functionality and set up in a timely manner.
- Oversee the development roadmap for the systems, including the adoption of new features and opportunities to enhance automation and integration with other tools.
