Key Responsibilities

Experience collaborating with North American and European engineering teams in a global work environment.

Lead end-to-end product development from RFQ to production Launch or Start of

Production of Struts, Shock absorbers, and coil-over shock absorbers.

Experience in RFQ review, customer requirement analysis, product feasibility studies,

and technical proposal preparation.

Experience in design reviews and coordination with CAD team, FEA Team,

Manufacturing, testing, and other cross-functional teams.

Drive resolution of design issues identified during package reviews, prototype builds,

validation testing, and production launch.

Support material selection and integration of decorative and functional features.

Monitor weight, cost, performance targets drive VA/VE initiatives for optimization.

Coordinating prototypes build activities and support validation events, ensuring closure of open concerns.

Knowledge of ECR, ECN and ECM processes for BOM changes and drawing revisions.





Manage ECRs and maintain configuration control throughout PLM cycle.

Experience in engineering drawing reviews as per design and customer requirements.

Experience in BOM preparation for quotation, development, and production.

Ensure timely release of engineering deliverables including CAD data, drawings,

BOMs, technical reports, and validation documentation.

Lead DFMEA, DFM/DFA reviews, risk assessments, design optimization activities.

Knowledge of support to the customer with different proposals based on their changing vehicle geometry and finalizing a cost-effective solution.
