Company Description Hive Studio is a Kolkata-based visual production studio specializing in high-quality photography and cinematography for both commercial and social projects. Founded by Argha Sikder, the studio offers end-to-end services across branding, cataloging, ad commercials, e-commerce, industrial, product, and food visuals.

Role Description The Studio Intern role is a contract, on-site position based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The intern will support day-to-day studio operations, including assisting photographers and cinematographers on shoots, helping with lighting and equipment setup, and organizing props and sets.

Responsibilities may include basic file management, backing up footage, and supporting the post-production team with initial selections and simple edits under guidance. The intern will help maintain studio spaces, manage bookings and schedules as needed,



and contribute ideas to visual concepts and storytelling. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a professional studio environment and exposure to commercial and social photography workflows.

Qualifications

- Interest in photography, cinematography, and visual storytelling, with a basic understanding of camera operation and composition.
- Familiarity with photo or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing equipment, files, and studio setups.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment and take direction from multiple team members.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and handle physically active tasks such as moving equipment and setting up scenes.
- Good communication skills in English and/or local languages, with a qualified and respectful approach to clients and colleagues.
- Relevant coursework or projects in photography, film, design, or media are preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability to work on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area for the duration of the contract.
