Role Description The Student Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The counselor will meet with students and families to understand their academic background, interests, and goals, and provide guidance on suitable educational pathways and career options. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, organizing information sessions, maintaining accurate records of student interactions, and following up to track progress and outcomes.

The role also involves responding to inquiries, supporting students through application or decision-making processes,



and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality service.

The Student

Counselor is expected to uphold a supportive, non-judgmental approach and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Student Counseling and Education-related skills, with the ability to guide learners across diverse backgrounds.
- Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students explore and plan suitable academic and professional pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear explanation, and empathetic interaction.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide timely support, and maintain a positive experience for students and families.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in academic counseling, career guidance, or educational services is an advantage.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, maintain confidentiality, and follow ethical counseling practices.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer and office software.
