– Structural Analysis

Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Structural Analysis / Aeroelasticity Engineer with experience in aircraft structural design, FEA, aeroelasticity, fatigue, and composite structures. The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, simulation, validation, flight-test data analysis, and providing design recommendations for aircraft components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Finite Element (FE) models for linear and nonlinear structural analysis at component and assembly levels.
- Perform static and dynamic structural analysis , including modal, transient, and random vibration analysis.
- Conduct aeroelasticity and fatigue simulations to assess structural stability and durability under dynamic loads.
- Support the design and analysis of metallic and composite aircraft structures .
- Select appropriate structural materials based on strength, weight, safety, and performance requirements.
- Support composite part design, manufacturing considerations, and sizing .
- Design experimental test procedures and instrumentation for validating analytical models.
- Plan flight-test instrumentation and perform flight-test data analysis for loads and flutter .
- Analyze test and simulation results and provide actionable design recommendations and risk mitigation .
- Prepare and review technical reports covering structural analysis, testing, and project results.
- Ensure analysis and testing activities support applicable airworthiness and certification requirements .
- Collaborate effectively with design, testing, manufacturing, and other engineering teams.
Must-Have Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in aircraft structural design and analysis .
- Strong experience with FEA / Finite Element Analysis .
- Hands-on experience in static, modal, transient, and random vibration analysis .
- Knowledge of aeroelasticity, fatigue analysis, and structural dynamics .
- Strong knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures .
- Experience in composite material selection and sizing criteria .
- Knowledge of CAD tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks .
- Understanding of airworthiness and certification requirements related to analysis and testing.
- Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in UAV / Unmanned Aerial Vehicle structural design and analysis .
- Experience with flight-test instrumentation and flutter/load analysis.
- Exposure to experimental structural testing and model correlation.
