Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Engineer Bridges role based in Bhubaneswar.

The Structural Engineer

Bridges will perform detailed structural analysis and calculations for bridge projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing structural designs and drawings using CAD tools, preparing technical reports and design documentation, and coordinating with civil, geotechnical, and construction teams. The role involves reviewing project specifications, participating in design reviews, resolving technical issues during construction,



and providing engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.

The Structural Engineer

Bridges will also contribute to cost-effective design solutions, quality control, and continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with applied experience in bridge design and detailing.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations for various bridge systems and materials.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing bridge layouts, reinforcement details, and construction drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of relevant bridge design codes, standards, and best practices (national and international).
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports accurately.
- Solid problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills with attention to detail and safety.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in bridge or transportation infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Commitment to professional ethics, quality, and continuous learning in a structured engineering environment.
