About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Structural Drafter with good knowledge of Autodesk Revit and 1–2 years of drafting experience, who enjoys not just using AI tools but building new ones. This is a dual role: you will produce accurate structural drawings, models and details for real construction projects, and in equal measure help us develop the AI-assisted tools and automation that make that work faster and more reliable.

The role suits someone who understands Revit workflows and wants to grow in structural detailing, BIM coordination and applied AI within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Drafting

- Prepare and update structural drawings, formwork plans, reinforcement plans, sections and details in Revit.
- Work from architectural plans, engineering input and project sketches.
- Coordinate Revit models with engineers and resolve issues across disciplines.
- Maintain clean Revit models, views, sheets, families and project documentation.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and drawing schedules when required.
- Check drawings for accuracy, consistency and constructability, following internal drafting standards.

AI & Automation

- Identify repetitive drafting tasks and develop AI-assisted tools, scripts or automations to solve them.
- Build and test in-house tools that improve drawing quality and speed.
- Come up with your own ideas for new tools and take them from concept to a working solution the team can actually use.
- Apply AI to support model checking, take-offs, documentation and drawing reviews.




- Explore new AI technologies as they emerge and propose practical ways to apply them to live projects.
- Help shape how AI and automation are used within our internal standards and project workflows.
- Document what you build and train colleagues to use it.

Requirements

- Good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
- 1–2 years of relevant structural drafting experience. AI / automation experience is a plus.
- Solid interest and willingness to use AI and automation, and to build new tools with them.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Basic understanding of concrete, steel and building construction.
- A problem-solving mindset — you notice inefficiencies and want to fix them.
- Accurate, organized and detail oriented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with reinforcement or formwork drawings.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination.
- Familiarity with Revit plugins like SOFiSTiK.
- Hands-on experience with AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) in a work context.
- Exposure to Dynamo, Python or the Revit API.
