Experience - 7 - 17 years
Role Description The Stress Engineer will be responsible for performing detailed stress and structural analyses on components and systems, ensuring they meet safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and validating engineering calculations, reviewing and interpreting design drawings, collaborating with design engineering teams to optimize structures, and documenting analysis results in clear technical reports. The role will involve supporting design reviews, participating in cross-functional project meetings, and providing recommendations to improve structural integrity and performance.
This is a full-time,
on-site position based in Pune City, working closely with project and engineering teams in an industrial and engineering-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Stress Analysis and Structural Analysis for industrial and mechanical components.
- Candidates should possess Design Engineering skills, including the ability to interpret drawings and translate requirements into robust designs.
- Candidates should possess advanced skills in engineering Calculations, including hand calculations and use of analytical tools or software.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Aircraft or similar high-performance structures, or a strong interest in applying stress engineering principles to complex systems.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- Experience with industry-standard analysis software (e.g., FEA tools) and proficiency in CAD interpretation is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work accurately under project timelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams in office.
