Role Description The Student Counsellor role is a full time, on-site position based in Lucknow.
The Student
Counsellor will guide prospective and current learners in selecting appropriate exam preparation programs, understanding course offerings, and setting realistic study-abroad goals. Daily tasks include conducting counselling sessions, responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate student records, and coordinating with trainers to align student needs with class schedules and exam timelines. The role involves explaining exam requirements, helping learners create preparation plans,
and following up to ensure engagement and satisfaction.
The Student
Counsellor will also support admission processes, participate in outreach activities, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills to counsel and guide students effectively.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly, including exam formats, score requirements, and study pathways.
- Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple student cases, schedules, and documentation.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on empathy, patience, and building long-term learner relationships.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and online communication tools used for student tracking and reporting.
- Prior experience in counselling, academic advising, or education services is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and study-abroad processes is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, psychology, or counselling is preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
