Role Description The Store Manager role at Vishal Mega Mart Limited is a full-time, in office position based in Jamnagar.

The Store

Manager oversees daily store operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and floor management to ensure smooth functioning of all departments. This role is responsible for driving sales, monitoring inventory levels, managing visual merchandising, and maintaining store standards.

Manager ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through effective customer service, prompt issue resolution, and adherence to company policies.



The role also includes overseeing cash management, implementing retail loss prevention measures, and reporting performance metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
- Experience in Store Management, including staff supervision, operational planning, and sales performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and protect assets.
- Previous experience in retail or hypermarket operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Jamnagar and manage shifts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail management, business, or a related field is preferred.
