Role Description The Store Manager role at KIMS Hospitals is a full time, on-site position based in Kerala, India.
The Store
Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital store, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensuring timely availability of medical and non-medical supplies.
Responsibilities include supervising store staff, coordinating with clinical and administrative departments for material requirements, maintaining accurate records,
and adhering to procurement and storage protocols. The role involves monitoring stock levels, managing vendor interactions as per organizational guidelines, and implementing loss prevention measures.
The Store
Manager will also ensure that all store activities align with hospital policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, while supporting a safe and efficient environment.
Qualifications
- Strong store management and inventory control skills, with experience in hospital or healthcare retail operations preferred.
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction for internal stakeholders and departments.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with clinical teams, vendors, and administrative staff.
- Knowledge of retail loss prevention practices and basic audit or compliance procedures.
- Relevant education in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office tools.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail.
- Prior experience in hospital stores, pharmacy stores, or large-scale retail operations is highly beneficial.
