Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, optimizing store sales, and leading a team of employees. This role involves managing inventory, handling finances, ensuring store compliance with company policies, and maintaining a clean and protected shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Profitability

- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales figures, monitor market trends, and identify opportunities to drive sales growth. Implement promotional campaigns and in-store events to boost sales.

Customer Service:
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered by all team members. Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and in a timely manner.



Foster a customer-focused culture within the store.

Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff to build a strong, cohesive team.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Schedule and manage staff hours efficiently to ensure proper store coverage.

Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to minimize shrinkage. Ensure accurate product displays, pricing, and promotional signage.
- Coordinate with the purchasing team to order products and manage stock replenishment.

Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards and store policies.

Financial Management:
- Manage the store budget, including expenses, labor costs, and sales projections.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including deposits, register balancing, and reconciliations. Analyze financial reports and adjust strategies to improve profitability.

Merchandising:
- Ensure that the store's merchandising aligns with company standards. Plan and execute visual merchandising strategies to attract customers. Monitor product placement and inventory turnover to optimize sales.
