Responsibilities of Purchase Manager.

· Propose improvements to the current purchasing system that will improve vendor relationships and lower the cost of doing business

· Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for gauging inventory level needs and then maintaining those levels throughout the year

· Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses.

· Comprehensive coordination with Store, Sales, Logistic dept. and Service dept.

· Utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory, forecast material needs, and prevent production line-downs or excess stock.

· Monitoring component lifecycles to anticipate EOL (End-of-Life) notices and working closely with design/engineering teams to approve alternate parts and second-source vendors.





· Manage the company’s day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure that all purchasing agents are meeting their personal performance standards

· Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collecting processes

· Good knowledge and well versed in Electronic goods and Components.

· Leveraging electronic knowledge to source critical materials such as PCBs, Integrated Circuits (ICs), semiconductors, resistors, and connectors.

Qualifications

- Strong inventory and store management skills, including stock planning, record-keeping, and warehouse organization.
- Experience in purchasing and procurement, covering vendor sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order processing, and follow-up.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and inventory or ERP systems to manage data, generate reports, and maintain documentation.
- Valuable knowledge of medical devices or healthcare products, or willingness to learn product specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to reconcile physical and system stock regularly.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle on-site operational responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, commerce, or a related field; prior experience in store or purchase functions is highly beneficial.
