Role Overview We are seeking a Senior 3D Lighting Artist with over 6 years of experience to lead the lighting design for CG scenes. This role involves creating atmospheric and visually engaging lighting, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless integration, and optimizing render settings to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Responsibilities Illuminate CG scenes to establish mood, atmosphere, and enhance visual storytelling.

Collaborate with modelling, texturing, and other departments to ensure lighting integrates seamlessly with all elements.

Strategically position 3D objects to interact realistically with lighting,



ensuring proper illumination and shadow casting.

Maintain consistency in lighting across multiple shots and sequences, adjusting parameters like intensity, falloff, and color to create an immersive atmosphere.

Fine-tune lighting to highlight interactions between characters, props, and to showcase unique features of animals or creatures within the scene.

Create master lighting setups tailored to both interior and exterior environments, considering light sources, materials, and spatial composition.

Ensure lighting accurately captures nuances such as fur and hair and integrates CG elements with live-action footage effectively.

Skills & Attributes Expertise in advanced 3D lighting techniques and tools.

Strong understanding of color theory, light direction, shadow depth, and ambient occlusion.

Ability to create and manage complex lighting setups for both interior and exterior environments.

Detail-oriented with robust troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize render settings.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to follow guidance and provide clear updates.

Proven ability to maintain consistency and visual continuity across multiple shots and sequences.

Qualifications Diploma or degree in VFX, Animation, or a relevant field.

Over 6 years of professional experience as a 3D Lighting Artist.

A showreel or portfolio demonstrating proficiency in lighting CG scenes, including master setups for various environments and integration with live-action footage.
