Job Summary

Job Title: Sr. Service Engineer Location: India, Delhi

Site Location: Darlaghat, HP

Roles and Responsibilities

- Maintenance Management: Plan, supervise, and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on Epiroc equipment, ensure adherence to OEM maintenance standards and service schedules, monitor machine health and initiate actions to prevent failures.
- Equipment Availability Reliability: Maximize equipment availability and utilization.
- Equipment Availability Reliability: Analyze breakdown trends and conduct root cause analysis for recurring failures.
- Equipment Availability Reliability: Implement reliability improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve performance.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to service engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and develop site maintenance personnel.
- Technical Leadership: Lead complex repairs, commissioning, and technical interventions.
- Safety Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Epiroc and customer HSE standards.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed following approved procedures and statutory requirements.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary technical interface between Epiroc and the customer.
- Customer Relationship Management: Attend customer meetings and provide technical recommendations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
- Spare Parts Inventory Control: Forecast and recommend spare parts, consumables, lubricants, and critical components.

Monitor spare consumption patterns and recommend improvements.
- Performance Monitoring Reporting: Maintain equipment history records, service reports, and maintenance logs.
- Performance Monitoring Reporting: Track contractual KPIs such as Availability, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance compliance.
- Performance Monitoring Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management and customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Continuous Improvement: Support implementation of technical upgrades, product improvements, and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct technical training programs for customer personnel and Epiroc teams.

- Strong knowledge of Epiroc mining and construction equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, drilling, and powertrain systems.
- Expertise in preventive, predictive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance practices.
- Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability for complex equipment failures.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, reliability engineering, and equipment performance optimization.

Experience Requirements

- Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing equipment maintenance at customer sites, AMC contracts, or mining operations.
- Proven experience in leading teams of service engineers and technicians.
- Strong exposure to customer-facing roles, contract management, and fleet performance improvement
