About the Team The Collateral team is responsible for end-to-end life cycle management of in-store Non-Retail Items (NRIs) such as Graphics & Signage, Fixtures, Displays, etc. A collateral is any non-retail item which is used for the support or promotion of retail products but not for sale itself. Examples: Bay fixtures, Free-standing gondolas, Cash registers, Christmas decal, etc. The reporting team provides insights and analysis to internal and external stakeholders to help streamlining process and make business decisions.
Job Summary:
The Senior Analyst oversees the end-to-end PLR processes within the Collateral function such as life cycle management of all NRIs, accurate estimation, managing POs, tracking delivery and removing roadblocks, which demands process expertise, business acumen, and an understanding of the impact on upstream and downstream teams.
Quick and effective decision-making is crucial on a daily basis when handling queries from the field, vendors, and cross-functional teams. They also lead training initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in their area.
The role involves supporting the execution of strategic initiatives at stores, including drafting and circulating pre-execution communications, monitoring execution through store cameras, and providing near real-time guidance on field queries. Additionally, the Senior Analyst is responsible for all steel-related tasks in new store setups, including estimating steel quantities, managing purchases, and ensuring on-time delivery to support execution. Their ability to make informed, timely decisions ensures that the right collateral, at right quantities, is made available to the field team to execute the reset as per determined time.
There by optimizing the cost of labor, material and capitalizing on the opportunity cost of speed to market due to on time execution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build expertise and understanding on E2E Collateral PLR and New Store processes.
- Own E2E processes of the assigned business area and deliver the business outcomes and agreed KPIs.
- Own day to day decisions for their assigned business areas and help guide the team to achieve the desired outcome for business.
- Review and re-establish new processes guidelines and SOPs based on historical data and retrospection for the owned processes.
- Pilot transition of new processes when applicable.
- Guide the team with day-to-day decision making when handling queries from the field and other CFT teams.
- Partner with operations/business teams to consult and take constant feedback on delivering incremental value.
- Enable effective decision making by partnering with the reporting team to help uncover actionable insights.
- Prepare and deliver business insights to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
- Constantly seek opportunities to improve process and drive efficiencies.
- Ensure all the related data and metrics are accurately updated in a timely manner and shared with the Manager.
- Ensure there are backups for every task and clear SOPs reviewed and approved by process owners are established and always kept relevant and current.
- Tracking accurate metrics of the team in timely manner.
- Training and mentoring new joiners on tools and processes and business context to set them up for success.
- Buddy program to help new joiners with their OJT and set them up for success.
- Establish clear QA process to ensure 100% accuracy of the work owned and delivered out of the Bangalore team.
- Lead change management i.e. – Quick adoption of new tools and technologies, UAT and advocate the same to the team.
Years of Experience:
- 4 to 6 years of Experience
- 2 + years of Experience in Merchandising Operations or Equivalent
- 3 + years of Retail Experience
Education Qualification & Certifications
Required Minimum Qualifications
- B. TECH/ B.E/B.com / BBM / Retail Operations Management

- Ability to drive process improvements and efficiencies and has knowledge of various methodologies i.e Six Sigma, Design Thinking
- Omni Channel retail experience.
Secondary Skills (desired)
- Advanced Excel, SQL knowledge is preferred.
