As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, effective technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you'll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyses, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards in an agile environment.
- Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.
- Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.
- Manages medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.
- Additional responsibilities may include collaboration across teams and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.

Experience

Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in the life insurance or financial services domain.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular, in support of full-stack delivery.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Tosca) is a plus, given close collaboration with the teams Quality Engineering function.
- Prior experience in a large enterprise technology environment, ideally within insurance or financial services.

Reporting Structure: Reports to Manager or Director. Location Flexibility: Hybrid with periodic in-office collaboration
