Overview To support the FXPB department. Mainly for SFL and SFP (SXM possible overlap)

Responsibilities

General Duties The role includes:

- Monitoring FX positions and cash balances for Prime Brokers and clients.
- Matching trades and checking trade flow into the in-house operational system.
- Ensuring swap adjustments for client deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
- Checking FX swaps for the front office on O/N (overnight), T/N (tomorrow-next), and S/N (spot-next).
- Monitoring daily cash balances (cash, same day, and value tomorrow) against Prime Brokers and clients.
- Emailing daily netting figures to internal/external clients and Prime Brokers.
- Investigating breaks in FX positions or cash balances.
- Reconciling Excel cash sheets against the in-house system.
- Preparing and checking client and Prime Broker payments after netting completion.
- Reconciling banking systems with the in-house system to confirm funds are received and paid.
- Liaising with Treasury regarding payment queries.
- Booking FX spot and swap trades into the back-office system for other internal desks.




- Reconciling Prime Broker balances daily and obtaining sign-off.
- Liaising with the Front Office regarding late or missed settlements.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

Required skills include

- Solid attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Strong communication skills across all levels.
- Good numerical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
