About The Role We are seeking an experienced Oracle VBCS Consultant to design, develop, and support web and mobile applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) . The role focuses on building custom applications and Oracle Fusion extensions that integrate with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, and SCM using REST APIs and Oracle Integration solutions.

The consultant will develop responsive applications and custom user interfaces using Oracle VBCS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS , while extending Oracle Fusion Cloud applications without impacting core SaaS functionality. The role also involves implementing business logic, validations, authentication, authorization, and performance optimization.

The position will support integrations using REST APIs, JSON, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ATP, and ADW , along with application testing, deployment, environment migration, and version management. The consultant will also provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and work closely with functional teams, OIC teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS.
- Build responsive UIs and business logic using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Visual Builder components.
- Develop Oracle Fusion extensions while preserving core SaaS functionality.
- Integrate VBCS applications with Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, REST APIs, OIC, ATP, and ADW.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, deployment, environment migration,



and version management.
- Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS application development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON.
- Experience integrating VBCS with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Understanding of Oracle Cloud security, authentication, and authorization concepts.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred / Good To Have

- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- ATP and ADW database integration.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Finance, HCM, SCM, or Projects modules.
- CI/CD and deployment exposure in OCI.
- Knowledge of UX best practices and accessibility standards.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience developing and supporting applications using Oracle VBCS , with solid expertise in JavaScript, REST APIs, and Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations. The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting production issues, supporting deployments, and collaborating with technical and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
