- Raw Material Procurement

- Source coconut husks, retted husks, coir fibre, coir pith, and other required raw materials from farmers, coconut processing units, traders, and suppliers.

- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network.

- Ensure uninterrupted raw material availability for production.

- Supplier Management

- Identify and evaluate recent suppliers.

- Negotiate purchase prices, transportation costs, payment terms, and supply quantities.

- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and resolve supply-related issues.

- Monitor supplier performance, reliability, and quality.

- Quality Control

- Inspect incoming coconut husks/raw materials for moisture, maturity, fibre content, contamination, and other quality parameters.

- Ensure materials meet company specifications before acceptance.

- Coordinate with the Quality/Production team regarding rejected or substandard materials.

- Maintain records of quality issues and supplier-wise performance.

- Monitor local raw-material market prices and seasonal fluctuations.

- Negotiate competitive procurement rates.

- Compare supplier quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.





- Control unnecessary procurement and transportation expenses.

- Collection &

- Logistics

- Plan collection of husks from different sourcing locations.

- Coordinate vehicles, loading, unloading, weighing, and delivery schedules.

- Ensure proper handling and storage to minimize material loss and deterioration.

- Verify quantity received against purchase orders and delivery document

- Field &

- Supplier Visits

- Regularly visit coconut-growing areas, suppliers, collection centres, and processing units.

- Identify new sourcing locations and potential suppliers.

- Assess availability during peak and off seasons.

- Build local sourcing networks.

- Documentation &

- Reporting

- Maintain purchase, supplier, quantity, price, quality, transportation, and payment records.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly raw-material procurement reports.

- Track supplier-wise procurement and costs.

- Submit sourcing and inventory reports to management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
