We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to define and govern end-to-end technology solutions for enterprise transformation initiatives. The role will be responsible for translating business requirements into a complete technical solution architecture, covering applications, integrations, APIs, cloud, data flows, security and non-functional requirements.

The Solution Architect will work across business and technology teams to ensure that individual technology components, including workflow solutions where applicable, fit into a scalable, secure and resilient overall enterprise solution.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Define end-to-end solution architecture based on business and functional requirements.
- Analyse existing technology landscapes and identify appropriate target-state solutions.
- Application interactions, system boundaries and end-to-end solution flows.
- Design API architecture and integration patterns across enterprise applications.
- Define synchronous and asynchronous integration approaches.
- Design solutions using event-driven architecture and messaging where required.
- Cloud architecture and appropriate Azure services as part of the overall solution.
- Data flows and interactions between applications and services.
- Establish architecture requirements for security, scalability, availability, resilience and performance.
- Evaluate technology options and make appropriate architecture decisions.
- Define how workflow, decisioning and other technology components should fit within the overall solution.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks,



constraints and integration impacts.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture and technology standards.
- Review high-level and detailed technical designs produced by engineering teams.
- Provide technical direction to development and implementation teams.
- Work closely with Business Architects and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support implementation teams throughout the solution lifecycle and resolve architecture-related issues.
- Ensure appropriate approaches are defined for monitoring, operational support and reporting.
- Maintain solution architecture documentation, diagrams and technical decisions.

Mandate Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
- Strong experience designing end-to-end enterprise solutions.
- Strong API-led integration experience.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture.
- Experience with workflow orchestration architecture.
- Experience with rules/decision engines.
- Experience with real-time processing.
- Strong enterprise integration and application architecture experience.
- Experience with Azure platform services.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security controls.
- Experience with monitoring and reporting frameworks.
- Financial-services/banking workplace experience.
