Role Description The Software Engineer – C#.NET will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and applications using C# and the .NET framework in a remote setting.

Responsibilities include implementing current features, optimizing existing code, integrating APIs and databases, and ensuring application performance, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement efforts. The engineer will also help document technical designs, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to best practices in software development.

This is a contract role with remote work arrangements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming with C# and the .NET ecosystem.




- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, database integration, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in enterprise-level solutions.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and up-to-date development workflows (CI/CD).
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and basic knowledge of cloud platforms is beneficial.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code, with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a distributed, remote team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
