Planout Group is looking for a Social Media Intern to manage and grow our employee-generated content on Instagram.

The role will focus on creating funny, relatable and highly shareable office content featuring Planout employees, workplace situations, corporate life, team interactions and trending social media formats.

We are looking for someone who understands Instagram culture, trending Reels, memes, office humour and Gen Z content, and can turn everyday office situations into entertaining content.

You will be involved in the complete content process — from idea generation and scripting to shooting, coordination, posting and performance analysis.

The objective is simple: make Planout Group’s office culture entertaining enough that people want to watch, share and follow.

Requirements

- Graduate / Final-year student from any discipline
- Strong interest in Instagram, Reels, memes and social media trends
- Should naturally enjoy consuming and sharing funny and relatable content
- Good understanding of Gen Z humour and internet culture
- Ability to come up with fresh content ideas regularly




- Ability to identify humour in everyday office situations
- Valuable scriptwriting and storytelling ability
- Comfortable interacting with and coordinating with employees across teams
- Comfortable shooting videos using a smartphone
- Basic knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut, VN, InShot or similar applications
- Comfortable appearing in front of the camera would be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of trending Instagram audios and Reel formats
- Ability to work quickly because social media trends move fast
- Creative, outgoing and comfortable convincing employees to participate in content
- Basic understanding of Canva would be an advantage
- Familiarity with ChatGPT and AI-based content ideation tools would be preferred
