About Cartrends

Cartrends Auto Parts Pvt. Ltd. is a growing automotive company working across the automobile aftermarket, auto parts, accessories, lubricants, smart key solutions, multi-brand workshops, car modifications and premium detailing.

We are building a strong and recognizable automotive brand and are looking for a creative content creator, video editor and brand-minded individual who can help us take our digital presence to the next level.

This is not just an editing role.

We are looking for someone who can understand the automobile industry, identify what people want to watch, create content around it and help shape the Cartrends brand online.

The Role

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator, Editor & Brand Consultant who can take ownership of our social media content — from idea to shoot to edit to publish to analyse and improve.

You will work closely with our team to create engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.

The ideal person should have a strong eye for trends, storytelling, automobiles, branding and short-form video content.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

- Develop fresh and engaging content ideas for Instagram, LinkedIn and other social platforms.
- Create Reels, short-form videos, car-related content, educational content, product content and brand stories.
- Develop content around automotive trends, car care, accessories, spare parts, modifications and the automobile aftermarket.
- Convert everyday business activities into engaging social media content.
- Create content that is informative, entertaining, relatable and brand-focused.

Video Editing
- Edit Instagram Reels, Shorts and other short-form videos.
- Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects and other creative elements.




- Create strong opening hooks to improve watch time and engagement.
- Repurpose existing videos, shoots and photographs into multiple content pieces.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across all content.

Social Media
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar.
- Stay updated with Instagram trends, formats, sounds, memes and content trends.
- Suggest new content formats and campaigns.
- Coordinate with the internal team for shoots, product information and business updates.
- Schedule and publish content where required.
- Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.

Brand Building
- Help develop and maintain the Cartrends digital brand identity.
- Understand our target audience and develop content accordingly.
- Bring creative ideas for campaigns, launches and brand awareness.
- Ensure that our content has a recognizable Cartrends look, tone and personality.
- Think beyond individual posts and help build a long-term automotive brand.

What We Are Looking For You don't necessarily need a traditional agency background.

We care more about what you can create.

Must Have

- Strong knowledge of Instagram and short-form content.
- Excellent video editing skills.
- Valuable understanding of Reels, hooks, storytelling and audience retention.
- Strong creative thinking and content ideation skills.
- Good understanding of social media trends.
- Basic understanding of branding and visual communication.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.

Valuable to Have
- Experience working with automotive, automobile, lifestyle, e-commerce or D2C brands.
- Knowledge of cars,



automobile products or the aftermarket industry.
- Experience with on-location shoots.
- Ability to shoot videos using a smartphone or camera.
- Graphic design skills.
- Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Canva, Photoshop or similar tools.
- Experience growing an Instagram page organically.

Flexible Engagement We are open to different working models:

Consultant | Freelancer | Part-Time | Project-Based The right candidate can work with us on a flexible engagement depending on their availability, experience and scope of work.

We are more interested in great work and long-term collaboration than a conventional 9-to-6 setup.

Compensation

₹15,000 – ₹30,000+ per month / project-based

Final compensation will depend on experience, portfolio, scope of work and engagement model.

Exceptional creators with a strong portfolio may be considered for a higher engagement.
