Job Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day rooftop solar installation activities.
- Ensure work is carried out as per the instructions of the Site Engineer / Project Manager.
- Monitor installation work and maintain proper site discipline.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned site activities.
1. Team Management
- Supervise electricians, technicians, helpers, and installation workers.
- Allocate daily work to the site team.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and work progress.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer for daily work planning.
1. Material & Tools Management
- Check availability of required materials and tools at site.
- Ensure proper usage and handling of solar materials.
- Report material shortages, damages, or wastage to the Site Engineer.
- Maintain basic material and tool records.
1. Quality & Installation
- Monitor installation quality at site.
- Ensure proper installation of solar structures, modules, cables, and related components as instructed.
- Identify basic site issues and report technical problems to the Site Engineer.
- Ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
1. Safety & Site Discipline
- Ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the project site.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents to the concerned person.
1. Daily Reporting
- Maintain daily work progress updates.
- Report manpower, work completed, material requirements, and site issues.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer for project updates and requirements.
Education
- ITI / Electrical Diploma preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in solar installation/site supervision preferred.
- Basic knowledge of rooftop solar installation.
- Basic understanding of electrical work and solar components.
- Positive team handling and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage workers and daily site activities.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites.
