Role Description

▪️The Site Engineer role at Foxscan is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

▪️The Site Engineer will conduct field visits to residential properties, perform structural and seepage assessments, and use diagnostic tools such as thermal imaging to identify underlying issues.

▪️Day-to-day work includes documenting observations, collecting measurement data, collaborating with certified engineers to interpret findings, and supporting the preparation of clear, evidence-based written reports for homeowners.





▪️The role requires consistent coordination with the central team, adherence to quality and safety standards during site inspections, and effective communication with clients to explain diagnostic outcomes and next steps.

Qualifications

- Civil and structural engineering skills, including a strong foundation in Structural Engineering and experience as a Civil Engineer.
- On-site assessment skills, with the capability to perform detailed On Site inspections and work safely and efficiently in field conditions.
- Quality Control skills, with attention to detail in data collection, adherence to diagnostic protocols, and commitment to accurate reporting.
- Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical audiences and collaborate with internal engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in building diagnostics, construction, or structural assessment is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools (e.g., thermal imaging, moisture meters) and basic report-writing proficiency.
- Ability to travel within Chennai and nearby regions as required, and maintain professional, unbiased conduct with clients.
