Role Description The Shipping Bill Filing for Export role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves preparing and filing shipping bills and related export documentation in compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for shipment details, verifying accuracy of export data, and ensuring timely submission of documents to relevant authorities. The position also requires maintaining records of shipments, tracking status, and resolving documentation discrepancies. The team member will contribute to smooth export operations by supporting daily shipping, packing,



and inventory-related activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Shipping & Receiving and Shipping to manage export workflows and documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Packing to ensure goods are prepared securely and correctly for export.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control to maintain accurate shipment records and stock levels.
- Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation (or familiarity with material handling processes) to coordinate movement of goods in the warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, and basic international trade terms (Incoterms) is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with data and spreadsheets are required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, finance, and external partners are important.
- Prior experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or export operations, and a relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
