- Provide effective nursing care and ensure smooth functioning of the assigned unit.

- Supervise nursing personnel and ensure proper allocation of duties.

- Coordinate patient care with doctors, nurses, attendants, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

- Maintain high standards of nursing quality, patient safety, and continuity of care.

- Handle emergency and critical clinical situations according to established protocols.

- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and communication of patient-related information.

- Monitor infection prevention and control practices within the assigned unit.

- Address patient and attendant concerns and manage complaints appropriately.

- Ensure availability of required nursing supplies and equipment.

- Escalate staffing, clinical, patient-safety, and operational concerns to the appropriate authority.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient-safety standards.

- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and reports.

- Support effective time and resource management within the unit.
