We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our automobile service department. The candidate will be responsible for workshop performance, customer satisfaction, technician coordination, service quality, and achieving service targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workshop and service operations.
- Monitor technicians and service advisors and allocate work effectively.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and delivered on time.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service quality and conduct final quality checks.
- Achieve monthly service, labour, parts and customer satisfaction targets.
- Monitor job cards, repair estimates, billing and vehicle delivery.
- Coordinate with parts, sales, warranty and insurance teams.
- Monitor warranty and insurance-related service work.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment and workshop facilities.
- Track service department performance and prepare reports for management.
- Train and guide service advisors and technicians.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness and company procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in an automobile workshop/service department preferred.
- Good knowledge of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
- Strong customer handling and team management skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of DMS/service management software will be an advantage.
