Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Service Head – HVAC to lead and manage the complete HVAC service business. The role will be responsible for service operations, AMC portfolio, customer relationships, team leadership, service quality, and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in commercial HVAC systems, service operations, AMC management, and client handling, along with the ability to build and lead a high-performing service team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall HVAC service and maintenance operations, including breakdowns, preventive maintenance and AMC services.
- Develop and drive the AMC business, including renewals, recent contracts and service revenue growth.
- Manage and monitor service delivery to ensure timely response, SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Handle key clients, major accounts and critical customer escalations.
- Establish and implement service processes, SOPs, quality standards and performance KPIs.
- Lead, mentor and manage service engineers, technicians, supervisors and support teams.
- Monitor field team productivity, manpower deployment and service performance.
- Ensure effective planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex HVAC system issues.
- Coordinate with Projects, Sales, Estimation, Procurement and other departments for smooth service operations.
- Monitor service costs, profitability,



manpower utilization and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for service business expansion, AMC conversion and customer retention.
- Ensure proper documentation, service reports, maintenance records and compliance with company standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in service quality, response time and customer experience.
- Prepare and present regular service performance, revenue and operational reports to management.

Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge and hands-on exposure to:
- VRV / VRF Systems
- Chillers – Air Cooled & Water Cooled
- AHUs, FCUs and ventilation systems
- HVAC controls and BMS
- Ducting and allied HVAC systems
- Preventive & breakdown maintenance
- AMC operations and service contracts
- HVAC troubleshooting and commissioning

Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC or related discipline.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in HVAC service operations.
- Minimum 5+ years in a managerial/senior leadership role.
- Strong experience managing AMC portfolios and service teams.
- Proven experience in commercial HVAC projects and service operations.
- Strong client relationship, negotiation and escalation-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive service revenue and business growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication and team-management skills.
