About The Role:

We're looking for an SEO Specialist who knows how to turn search intent into traffic, rankings, and measurable growth.

You'll own SEO across CrackTheCampus, from keyword strategy and content optimization to technical SEO, backlinks, and performance tracking. If you enjoy figuring out why something ranks and how to make it rank better, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

:

- Build and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping.
- Optimize website pages, blogs, landing pages, titles, meta descriptions, internal links, and content structure.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create SEO-first content without making it sound like it was written for a search engine.
- Identify content gaps and build topic clusters around student careers, placements, skills, companies, and hiring trends.
- Handle technical SEO audits, indexing, crawling, redirects, sitemaps, schema, Core Web Vitals, and page-speed optimization.
- Build and execute backlink and off-page SEO strategies.
- Monitor rankings, traffic, CTRs, conversions, and other key organic metrics.
- Track performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools.
- Stay updated with search algorithm changes, SERP trends, and emerging SEO practices.
- Experiment, measure, optimize, and repeat.

What You'll Bring:

- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Solid understanding of On-Page, Off-Page, and Technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.




- Experience with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Ubersuggest, or similar platforms.
- Strong keyword research and competitor-analysis skills.
- Understanding of backlinks, domain authority, internal linking, and content architecture.
- Basic understanding of HTML, website structure, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable SEO decisions.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership and consistently meet deadlines.

Bonus Points:

- Experience in a SaaS, EdTech, CareerTech, or another high-content website.
- Understanding of programmatic SEO.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.
- Understanding of CRO and landing-page optimisation.
- Experience using AI tools for SEO research, content workflows, and optimisation.
