Role Description:

The SEO Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Puducherry. This role involves conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and implementing on-page SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic. The SEO Analyst will manage link-building activities, monitor backlinks, and collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO strategies with campaign goals.

Daily tasks include reviewing web analytics, preparing performance reports, identifying optimization opportunities, and staying updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.



The role also requires clear communication of SEO insights and recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO, including optimizing metadata, content structure, and internal linking.
- Experience with Link Building strategies and outreach to develop and maintain high-quality backlinks.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar platforms) to track and interpret SEO performance.
- Understanding of Marketing principles and how SEO integrates with broader digital marketing and content strategies.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and basic technical SEO concepts (site speed, mobile optimization, crawlability).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an SEO or digital marketing role is preferred; agency experience is an added advantage.
