Position: Senior Warden Males

Department: Hostel Administration / Student Affairs

Organization: Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the day-to-day functioning of university hostels.
- Monitor student discipline and ensure compliance with hostel rules and university regulations.
- Lead and guide wardens, assistant wardens, housekeeping, security, and other hostel support staff.
- Address student grievances, complaints, and welfare-related concerns promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, faculty, and university administration.
- Coordinate with Security, Medical Services, Student Affairs, Maintenance, and other departments during emergencies.
- Ensure proper implementation of hostel safety, security, fire-safety, and emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel premises, rooms, common areas, dining facilities, and other residential facilities.
- Monitor attendance, entry/exit records,



visitor management, and student movement as per university policy.
- Handle disciplinary incidents and prepare reports for senior management when required.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and overall upkeep of hostel facilities.
- Organize student engagement, welfare, orientation, and community-building activities.
- Maintain accurate records related to hostel occupancy, incidents, complaints, inspections, and disciplinary matters.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree .
- Relevant experience in hostel administration, residential campus management, student affairs, or institutional administration will be preferred.
